Imagine a copper barn on a hill, surrounded by lush forest, a stream, rolling hills and endless sky. Summer breezes flow through enormous barn windows and night fires warm families and friends on cool fall evenings under a harvest moon and stars.
The Willoughby Barn welcomes all occasions, indoors or outside. It’s the perfect setting for a creative jumpstart for a business meeting, the ideal place for a family reunion, a romantic wedding, or simply a place for family, friends and food.
This 19th century barn timbers were disassembled and moved from Highland Kansas to the hills of Weston, Missouri. Willoughby Design Barn, designed by eldorado architects, started with century old hand hewn beams, removed and refitted into a new plan with corrugated copper cladding for a rustic meets modern design.
The Barn houses creativity, welcomes vision sessions for all manner of guests, oversees family events and refreshes souls. Night fires warm cold fall evenings and summer breezes flow through enormous open windows to cool our bodies and inspire our spirits.

The Barn is a labor of true love and award-winning craftsmanship. Eldorado architects and Ann Willoughby collaborated on the design, starting with a classic structure, mixed in modernity and sustainability to create a one of a kind copper landmark that now stands on a hill near a 120 year old Martha Stewart inspired homestead.
